Aim and scope
Plovdiv University Scientific Works – Mathematics (Nauchni Trudove, Plovdivski Universitet) is the official scientific journal of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, University of Plovdiv “Paisii Hilendarski”.
The aim of the journal is to publish original research papers in a broad range of theoretical and applied areas of mathematics. Survey papers are also welcome.
The journal is published once a year.
Submission
A pdf file of the manuscript should be submitted to the journal’s editors in chief via the email math@fmi-plovdiv.org.
In the email, the corresponding author should suggest a member of the journal’s Editorial board to be the managing editor (communicating editor) of the manuscript. The suggestion regarding the managing editor should be based on the respective editor's scientific fields.
The manuscript will be subjected to peer review process by at least two independent reviewers appointed by the managing editor. The final decision whether the manuscript is being accepted or rejected will be made by the managing editor who will communicate the paper to the editors in chief. The corresponding author will be notified via email by the editor in chief about the final decision.
If the manuscript is accepted, it will be scheduled for the nearest forthcoming issue and the source file of the paper in .tex format according to the journal’s LaTeX template is demanded to be sent by the corresponding author. After the .tex file is received, the paper will be immediately published online on the journal’s website.
There are no article processing charges.
The submission of a manuscript implies that it has not been published, or is not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
